On December 5, 2013, the “Music for Medicine - 17th Annual Benefit Concert” honoring the 20th anniversary of the Salzburg Weill Cornell Seminars of The Open Medical Institute – Medical Education beyond Borders took place at New York City’s famed Carnegie Hall. The concert included performances by members of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra and The Vienna Boys Choir.

To get you in the right mood for the Holiday season, the Embassy will host a special concert on December 13, 2013. Famed Jazz musician and composer Burnett Thompson will present his program “Christmas in Vienna.” According to Thompson the idea behind his concert program stems from the time he spent in Vienna from 1972 to 1975.
