We recommend: Third Man Bar in NYC

On Thursday, Dec. 20, the Third Man Bar opened its doors to the public. Located at 116 Avenue C between 7 & 8 in the lively East Village neighbourhood in Manhattan, the bar offers its guests an atmosphere reminiscent of Orson Welles' film noir masterpiece from 1949.

The bar's interior includes thick exposed wooden beams, beautiful ironwork and a hearty bar at the center, where various house-made cordials, classic drinks, and craft cocktails (including the Chesterfield with gin, fresh ginger, lime juice, tonic, and house-made grenadine) and delicious snacks are served.

The Third Man Bar is the third establishment of Austrian chefs Eduard Frauneder and Wolfgang Ban, who also run the succesfull restaurants Edi & The Wolf and Seasonal.
