Concert | Meena Cryle & The Chris Fillmore Band

On July 21, 2013, Meena Cryle & The Chris Fillmore Band performed on the Well’s Fargo stage, the Artscape festival's main music stage, in Baltimore. Artscape is America’s largest annual free arts festival that features international and regional singers and musicians covering different genres of music and on average attracts 350000+ attendees over the course of three days.

Meena Cryle & The Chris Fillmore Band was Austria's contribution to the festival this year. Meena who is widely praised for her exceptional voice and her musical partner, guitar-player Chris Fillmore, write all of their songs, which are influenced by the Blues genre, themselves. Their repertoire ranges from Soul, R’n’B and Rock’n’Roll to electric Blues. Following theirdebut album “Try Me” their second album “feel me” was released in 2012. Some of the songs were performed during the festival and received overwhelmingly good response from the audience as well as the media. Concerto Magazine called Cryle & Fillmore an "exceptional and rare thing in today’s Blues-scene."
